I hope you are all looking forward to March I know I am and for once I am super-duper organised with everything! It is honestly the first month where I have been 100% prepared for everything that is happening including my goals! Yeahy!
- Write a personal mission statement – I have been reading/listening to a book call 7 habits of highly effective people. I have been loving everything it is saying I have just finished reading a chapter on having a mission statement. This basically means I need to figure out the rules to which I will live by as a person. I obviously already have some, however there are a few things I would love to incorporate in order to better myself as a person.
- Have a weekly plan for my time – I realise it wont be something I can time to the second, however I know I waste lots of hours each week procrastinating rather than doing, especially with my weekends. By roughly planning my week every Sunday this will help me either establish an action plan or figure out where my laziness is starting.
- No chocolate all month – My office has a desk dedicated to chocolate and sweets, as I am always doing overtime snacking has become too much of a habit for me! I aim to not have any chocolate and instead opt for some fruit.
- Spend more time with my family – We all have times where we step away from being involved with friends or family and at the moment with the study and extra hours at work I am neglecting the time I spend with my family. This month I plan to do something with them every week; go for a walk, have dinner at the table, anything just to get some quality time with the people I care about.
Good luck with any goals you have set yourself and I will check back in at the end of the month.
