Birchbox January – Unboxing

Hi Everyone,

Sorry I haven’t been blogging at all this month I swear it isn’t a permanent thing the last few weeks have been very busy in my personal life and I haven’t had time to think about writing which really sucks as it’s my favourite way to relax. This month Birch Box teamed up with Ohh Deer; a quirky stationary company to embrace the individuality. The box is beautifully decorated with Flamingos and greenery which brings a nice bright vibe to an otherwise dull month.

Lord & Berry – Blusher Crayon – Peach – £15 FULL SIZE

Lord & Berry

January has a bad rep for being a gloomy month – but not if this blush has anything to do with it! Playing with colour is the perfect way to add a little pep to you step on grey days, and this crayon couldn’t be easier to use. Embrace your inner kid and scribble onto the apples of your cheeks, then blend out the edges with your fingertips for an instant flush.

Marcelle – Waterproof Eyeliner – Charcoal – £10.99

Marcelle

Long-lasting, smudge-resistant and waterproof, this eyeliner will stay put from the morning school run through to your evening dinner plans – no touch-ups required. There soft charcoal shade is a wearable twist on a classic black, and it glides on smoothly for effortless application. Just sweep the pencil across your lash line, starting from the inner corner of your eye.

Thermaliv – Night Cream – £15.75

Getting a good night sleep does wonders for your skin. But, lets face it, those long sleep sessions are often few and far between! When you can’t guarantee a full 8 hours, massage this PM moisturiser into clean skin to boost its regeneration potential. Brimming with sea chamomile to boost collagen production and vitamin E to soothe, your skin will be left plump, nourished and well-rested come morning.

Parlor – Moisturizing Sea Salt Spray – £17

Parlor

Bottling the effects of salty sea air, this spray delivers tousled texture without having to step foot near the beach. Plus, while some salt sprays can leave your hair looking dry, this one contains sweet almond extract and vitamin-rich algae extract to nourish strands and protect your scalp. Spritz it evenly through damp or dry hair and twist between your fingers to add texture where you want.

Afterspa – Amazing Makeup Remover – £5.50

Afterspa makeup remover

Forget the various lotions and potions that usually assist in the removal of make-up, with this ultra-soft cloth there’s only one thing that you need…Water! That’s right, just wet the cloth and massage it over your face to break down impurities and removal all types of make-up. Give it a spin in the washing machine before your first use, then get started! Bonus: it lasts up to 1,000 washes.

After last months box this one didnt feel this one was half as good. I love the makeup remover mitten I have been using ones similar for months to reduce waste, if it really does last 1000 uses then I will be more than happy. The Lord and Berry will be nice to test out, however I got something very similar for christmas and I dont think the colour I got matches my skin tone. I would rate this box 2/5

What did you think of this months box?
